Save The Date
Wednesday, April 14, 2010 Apologies, apologies! I have a slew of half-written blog posts that I meant to complete and post, and then my daughter fell and broke her arm, and we spent the entire day Monday at the doctor/hospital, and now I'm playing catch up - trying to finish my manuscript this week, as well as working on a celeb profile deadline. I'm also teaching two classes at the end of the month that I haven't started preparing for. Yikes. So, please excuse the filler blog post - as soon as I can finish the ones I have in the queue, I promise to get them up!
In the meantime, please save the below dates if you're in either NYC, Seattle or LA! Really looking forward to these - Seattle (where I grew up) and LA (where we want to move), are two of my fave cities. (Now if I can just schedule a signing in Paris, I'm set.) :)
New York City: Tuesday, June 1st: Borders Time Warner Center at 7:00 pm
Seattle: Tuesday, June 22nd: Barnes and Noble Pacific Place at 7:00pm
Los Angeles: Thursday, June 24th, Borders Westwood at 7:00pm
Can't wait to meet some of you in person!

Make sure you get Philly on the schedule! It's not exactly Paris, but we do have the Phillies and only partially stale croissants.
Congrats, Allison, have fun and be present to the magnificence of experiencing your dreams coming true - couldn't happen to a nicer person. ;-)
If you're ever in the Cleveland area, I'll bring all my friends to see you. And since Debbie offered incentive, I'll do the same:
Cleveland Cavaliers are in the NBA playoffs (LeBron James and Shaq. Need I say more?)
Oh, we've also got this thing called the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. ;) And Lake Erie is a pretty shade of gray this time of year... erm, actually, ALL year. Haha.
I'll be there for the NYC signing -- coming up from the Philly suburbs for the event, and already looking forward to it! You've been a big inspiration when it comes to writing, and it'll be wonderful to meet you in person!! :)
Hope your daughter is feeling better after her fall!
Oooph! Hope your daughter is okay!
I don't suppose those classes you are teaching are in NYC and open to the public? I am looking for more writing workshops and classes to take....
Let me know if Chicago gets on your radar!
Shari - I can't believe you're driving in from Philly! I'm honored!!
Rebecca - I am teaching a few classes this year but they're all at conferences - Grub, ASJA. :( That type of thing. Unfortunately, I don't have time to do a weekly class, but if you have specific questions, happy to answer them here!
Oh no! I hope your daughter is okay.
I wish I lived closer to those cities...
Do you really want to live in LA? Really? I live here and can't wait to get out. Nice place to vacation, no so nice to live in. Anyhow, I hope to make the Borders event. Yay!
Cheers & be well!
