Happy 4th, Peeps!
Thursday, July 2, 2009 So I just, at the very second that I'm writing this, finished the revision of the revision of the revision of book #3, and while I wish I could post something insightful and profound, I'm going to have to skip it today as my brain can barely function as it is. :) I AM happy to say that with each new crack at the manuscript, it's getting stronger and stronger and closer to something that I'll be happy to have my name slapped to...so maybe that's today's lesson: keep at it, even when you feel like your eyeballs might peel off from revising or rewriting a scene or a manuscript one more time.
I'm off to enjoy some much-needed fam time for the long weekend! Be safe! Enjoy! Read something good! (I recommend Katherine Stockett's The Help, which I thought was mesmerizing.) Have fun!
