And the Countdown in On!

Holy moly, this is what it feels like to be a revolving door. I file the revision (of the revision of the revision) of my manuscript for my still-unnamed-book, and whew, just when I take a week to catch my breath, I'm back on the hamster wheel because the publication of the paperback version of Time of My Life is three weeks away!

Actually, I'm pretty damn excited by it and am getting my copies today. (I'll post a pic when I get 'em!) So, be forewarned by blogger friends, I may just turn into a self-promoting whore for the next month. :) Like, anytime I have a great experience somewhere, I might be known to say, "Wow, I really had thetime of my lifethere!" Or if someone share that they had, I dunno, a great date, I might ask, "Well, sure, but was it thetime of your life?" And yes, this certainly means that I'll be blasting the David Cook anthem out my windows at any and all hours of the day. :) And if I get really desperate, maybe the one from Dirty Dancing too!

Naw, in all seriousness, this is the time that I've talked about where writers just can't be shy about their self-promotion. I'm very, very lucky that my book is getting a lot of internal support at my publishers, and thus, I have an ad and marketing budget to help boost the book's visibility, but still...we all know it's about word of mouth and generating positive buzz, so the good news is that I have a big mouth. LOL! So, stay tuned for some Q/As and book giveaways, etc. And pretty please, when the time comes, don't forget to pick up your copy!

Just in time for beach reading! Can't wait to see the paperback and recommend it to friends.

Wow, reading that post I can't help but smile and wonder how many cups of java you drank before writing it! I'm sure the paperback sales will be great, most of my friends wait until books come out in paperback before their book clubs will read them:)
